GOD's FORECAST is to BLESS

God knows what’s best for you; so stop trippin’ over where you’re at or where you’re going.  Why stress over what God sits enthroned over?  He not only wants to cover us with His provisions, but when you trust His forecast, a “down-pour” is a given. “His will” will fall down, but in order to receive it, we must be looking up in expectation for it.

I have learned that God’s rain clouds are always present, and because we can’t see them, we do not think we need them.  Life seems good, skies are clear, so why look up to God?  A perspective I know I had for too long, and that is exactly when things went wrong!

And then all of a sudden the clouds we weren't asking God for do show up, but because we don’t want to get wet, we use anything the world has to offer us as the umbrella to obstruct the rain.  And the umbrella that keeps us dry also blocks the sky. We miss the opportunities that God wants us to see because we’ve already predicted our own forecast.

And when we make our own forecast, God just laughs. We say, “It looks good, so I’m good on my own to go through it.”  Or, “It looks like a storm, so God can’t possibly be in this.” And as a result we cover ourselves through it, completely missing what God wanted to do.

You see, it’s impossible to see with an upward perspective when we too easily settle for the comfort of our own covering.  Our own thoughts that try to figure everything out.  Our own plans that attempt to sort everything out.  But I have learned that when the skies begin to move and winds begin to push, this atmospheric pressure is the exact dynamic that is urging us to PUSH.

So stay focused on God even when you feel like “this situation can’t be good.” Because God knows what’s best for you and His rain clouds only ever form to bless you.
