"The cross has spoken, I am forgiven." God not only gave us forgiveness--(and if that wasn't enough)--He also wrapped us in His righteousness. And if that wasn't enough, He then gave us His very Holy Spirit presence. And if that isn't enough to know He is good, then I don't know what is. "And when you believed in Christ, He identified you as His own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom He promised long ago" (Ephesians 1:13).
