Joy is not a luxury, but rather a spiritual necessity. In other words, if we lose "touch" with our joy, it is absolutely necessary for us to get back in-touch with the Lord, for He is the origin of our joy and the sustainer of the same. “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing" (John 15:5).
